I can't use my ipod anymore because there's something wrong with the headphone jack, every time I listen to music through headphones it constantly cuts out and I have to move around the headphones constantly to get it to work. My car auxiliary cable does the same thing and it's really annoying. There's loads of white noise and static, too.

I'm out of warranty, what's the best option?

    Same problem here.

I'm either going to just wait until I get a new iPod/hone, or get a new jack on eBay and install it myself.

You could always get a quote form the Apple store on how much a repair would cost.

Can't you get headphones that connect via the 30-pin?
