im really frustrated with video games, the graphics are horrible or they are hard to read

basically the manufacturers are coding them for hdtv's so looks like im going to have to purchase one my question is

1 should i go buy one within my budget <$1000 or

2 should i save and invest in something thats up to date on technology and spend >$1500+

i want something thats good for watching sports and playing video games

    How big are you wanting?
I tend to go for makes such as, Samsung, Sony, Toshiba.
There are other makes, and usually more money=better quality+features. If you compare a $2000 TV compared to a $6000 TV, the $6000 will tend to be that tiny bit better, showing darker shadows and showing richer colours.
There are some TV's that are really good for $2000, you just have to search for them thats all. I suggest $1500+
