hello, I recently installed the iPhone 3.0 onto my ipod touch. After it installed, it need to sync with my itunes and when it finished, there was close to nothing on my ipod. It was jailbroken before I did this, if that makes a difference. There are a few games, but I'm missing even some of the apps that came with my ipod, like Photos, Calculator, Calender, etc. I restored it then tried re-syncing it but it still has the same problem.

    Help please!!

    Thanks.

Go to Settings if you can then General then Restrictions and enable and set password on all of them, then disable them all and they should be back.

Or if you cannot get to Settings

In Cydia get SBSettings and then unhide your apps.

Or in Cydia get Poof! and unhide them

Or DFU restore and then set up as new iPod.

I don't have the settings app and it's not jailbroken anymore since i put 3.0 on it so I don't have cydia.

I'm guessing DFU restore is the restore option on itunes. I'll try that. Thanks!

If I set it up as a new ipod, I'll still be able to put my orig stuff back on it right? dumb question i know.

You won't have any saved notes or calendar dates. Nothing like that. But all the apps should be back in there place.
