    hey guys,

well my ipod touch died today...I plugged it in to charge and the screen came up to show it was charging and it was really, really dark...i pressed the home button and all of a sudden i got all these white lines show up and then the screen just faded out....then nothing...computer didn't pick up that it was plugged in...so went to store where i got it and they said its dead..wouldn't exchange it on the spot and told me to ring apple...

so I rang apple and basically they said send it in and they will send a replacement...thing is its jailbroken...and i cant turn it on to restore it and yes I've searched through the forums trying to find ways to get it to work and nothing is working...

so am i basically screwed?...once i send it in and if they can get it going they going to see its jailbroken...and then what?

Restore your iPod to fresh 1.1.4 Firmware.

THEN send it in. That could even fix the Problem.
