"my screen light is not stable"

as in it goes dim, then bright then dim?

In a dark room the auto sensor should have the screen as dim as it goes...

hmmm all I can think of it that there is a light source in the room... and your thumb is going on and off of the sensor...
(it's right above the 'iPod' (carrier image) hard to see... but it's there

Does it act this way with factory settings?
    if so.. it's probably hardware

there is nothing to do... it it's flickering then its a hardware problem.. your senser is messed up...
Otherwise i think its you moving it in and out of the light from your laptop screen.

If you don't like how the auto sensor works, don't use it... that's my suggestion
