Hi all, simple question... I hope.

I have been looking to buy a pre 1.1.4 iPod Touch but was wondering if there would be any benefit in buying a readily updated Touch to a pre-updated Touch. Is there any hardware difference between the newest Touch and those of 6 months ago? I have noticed that I can save more than the cost of the firmware upgrade by buying an older (but still new) model.

Ok, so I've made a simple question seem complicated!!!

I'm also now wondering if version 2.0 upgrade will include 1.14??? But I guess we won't know that for a little while yet...

    Thanks

    Hey

There is no diffrence between the hardware of the latest models. However the first ipod touchs (Week 37) expeirenced problems with the lcd screen. Just make sure you dont buy a ipod with 27 in the serial number.

Im not to sure about 2.0 including the january software update.

i didn't think it was a problem with dead pixels i think it was something to do with something missing that stopped everything look dark.
