Has the ipod touch really gone 3G

    The new ipod touch is the same thing as the previous one, except with a more memory, some new features (like voiceover), and a better graphics processor. but the design hasn't changed. And all the accessories are still labeled as 2G ipod touch aren't they?

    I think that it has, as new hardware is iproving the speed, new functions are improving the quality therefor it could be called 3G

    What a pointless thread.



    The iTouch 3rd generation came out in 2009 ofcourse and it was updated. The iTouch 2nd generation came out in 2008 with updates, and the iTouch 1st generation was released in 2007 and there were no updates because it was the first.
