the rediculously long time it takes to synn or "install" the apps to the ipod?
ive downloaded the ones i want already from itunes app store, and the last hour its been syncing my ipod putting them on.

it takes a minimum of 2 minutes to.. even 5 for almost every app!

im not complaiing, im wondering if its the same with everyone else.

alsoo-- is there an application limit on 2.0?

I think the app limit is like 131, but that's just something in my memory, not sure why I think that :/

And god it does take forever.

And then every time I sync it 'backs up'... And it takes bloody forever!
Anyone know why it has to take quite so long?

and for you dude, i found out that in itunes you can make it NOT automatically sync when you hook up your ipod.

only YOU tell it when to.
ive had it set to that forever.

Keep an eye on your iPod, if the shiny bit on the slide to unlock part is not moving then its frozen and you will probably need to restore like i did

    Wait, what?

I swear it's officially released, just tempermental right now?

And, I have mine set to manual sync but then if I wanna add new music...

Also, I know kinda off topic but I'm syncing because I was thinking perhaps it has something to do with this, in Remote (on the iPod) it says to use it as an iTunes remote select [my ipod] in iTunes... then what? Nothing happens for me.

I think it is just really, really slow.

I just installed something direct from the appstore and it shows the progress, it downloads and then spend forever installing, and that's not via computer. iPod isn't frozen.
