I recently updated sbsettings, and I noticed something odd. there is a little hand, like the hand cursor from windows, right on the bottom of the wifi toggle. it stays with the toggle's icon even when it moves or when I change the theme. it doesnt do anything, it doesnt affect SBSettings at all. but I cant figure out where its even coming from. I can't find that image anywhere, and I can't think of why it would suddenly be displayed, randomly.

does anyone know what this is for or why its there?

hold your finger on the icon for a second or two and it brings up other stuff.

Edit: let me elaborate. It is there to inform you that if you hold your finger on the icon it is affiliated with, then it will give you information about the toggle. Ex: the wifi one says 'Sorry not on OS 2.x'

I think you can remove it in extras.

Apparently, if you hold down the WiFi toggle on 3.0 it tells you which network you're connected to. BigBoss is also working on a way to select a network to join through the toggle, but it's kind of hard to do because none of it is documented by Apple.

thats pretty cool. I never knew that.

now if only it was a little more useful, like when you hold it down it gives you advanced network info or something.

EDIT: oh yeah and you can remove it. I never thought to use this option because i didnt know what the hand WAS, but in options just turn off "*shows hold icons"
