Has ANYONE had sucess on vista x64

    As far as i can see LIBUSB is totally incompatible with vista x64 no matter what compatibility mode you set or even if you disable driver signing.

    Has anyone actually done it on x64 vista?

    nope ive tried to boot in the "unsigned kernal" mode and nothing. Anyone know if i can jb on another computer and sync it on mines?

    I have had no sucess of vista x64, xp x86

    any ideas on why:
    The problem i am getting is when putting in DFU mode, my computer doesnt recognize properly, it sees it as usb device.. I have installed libusb and am on xp 32bit.
    any thoughts?
    I am sure I am putting it in DFU mode

    You're supposed to run in compatibility mode for XP and as administrator, it worked for me on my Vista x64(coincidence

    The problem with running it on x64 is that libusb is compiled for x86 processors. AFAIK, it won't work until someone recompiles it.

    That's what I did.

    i have ran it as admin and comp mode, the test program shows nothing, and on restart the usb ports do not work.

    the restarting mode thing or jbing it on another machine?

    my issue is that when i type in "iRecovery -f iBSS211.dfu" in command prompt, it says
    Got USB
    Got USB
    No Iphone/Ipod detected

    i've been trying to jb since last night and i'm stuck here, any help would be appreciated

    Its probaably because LIBUSB isnt installed properly.

    Yeh I ran as admin and compatibility mode. Simply doesnt work. fear_2670, are you SURE your on x64. If you got it to work by the normal method your one in a million.
