Has anyone here accomplished or attempted the semi-tethered jailbreak? If so, is it at all n00b friendly? Is it worth doing manually, or should we all wait for a GUI?

I know some people on mac did it.
I don't know anyone who done it on Windows, something wrong with a Cydia not being a tar file or somehting like that.

    There is no GUI yet.

theres several programs out but its impossible to make a program do ALL the work since its so much more complex then just loading the firmware on

yeah. like a few minutes after MuscleNerd's post lol.

it's not all that different. just if you want to boot into jb mode, you have to set it to boot from the patched kernel
