It is supposed to work on ALL iPods and iPhones. Search tells me that there are no posts on this at all, which I find sort of strange as it has been up for a while now, I think. (A while being maybe as long as several hours in this case, an eternity in this community)

There are tons of posts on people doing it on the Mac. Download ZiPhone 2.6b and do it!

I suppose that you mean 2.6b ziphone jailbreak. Yes, I used it and works fine.

No, this is something else: "uses dev-team support software instead of Zibri's, which was apparently stolen from the dev-team". It's just out today.

    iJailBreak 0.6

YES THIS IS DIFFERENT and i'm wondering if anyone has tried this:

iJailBreak 0.6 Released: Supports 1.1.4 on all iPhones and iPod Touches
    March 15, 2008 | Posted by Ben, co-developer
We've just released iJailBreak 0.6 (referenced to before as 0.5.5). This version provides 1.1.4 support for all iPhones and iPod Touches, and, as before, allows you to freely enable the $20 iPhone apps. It also adds com.apple.afc2 support, allowing for easy manipulation of the filesystem.
As always, iJailBreak is released under the GNU General Public License version 2, and can be downloaded by choosing Check For Updates in the iJailBreak Menu Bar (soon, when it's pushed as an update), or at our Google Code (see below)
    Enjoy!
UPDATE: We are currently having trouble with Google Code, so please download iJailBreak from here.

    iJailbreak .56 = ZiPhone 2.6b

    and

    ZiPhone 2.6b = iJailbreak .56

    They're both the same.

Why do you think iJailbreak came out ONE DAY after ZiPhone?

I would have to say that you're completely utterly wrong. Sorry.

How? Fine. ZiPhone 2.6b does not = iJailbreak .56.

    But iJailbreak .56 DOES = ZiPhone 2.6b.

Think about it. iJailbreak has released their App a DAY after ZiPhone.

ijailbreak 0.6 not the same as ziphone for mac

    Teslanaut
It's a completely flawless experience, no need to re-hard boot multiple times like on ZiPhone.
I see Ziphone more of a PC compatible break and ijailbreak a real OS X application.
No need to go back and start from 1.1.1 and every setting is remembered although i did have to re-install my custom apps.
