    Mine is fully hacked.

You need a Pandora's Battery (search for it on Google) to downgrade your PSP and put the custom firmware on it. (then you get the hacks, mods, free games etc.)

You can either buy one from eBay, or make one, but you'll need a spare battery.

Or go to your local Oriental Mall

I am too, but my friend hacked mine. Completely worth it. Now I don't have to spend money on games and I have an N64 emulator. So freaking awesome.

YOU DON'T need a spare battery i was told that if you cut the gold in board connection (the gold lines that you see that go from one chip to another) well if cut that connection you have a pandora battery if you pencil it back in (with a lead pencil im told the battery returns to normal state) find some more details though. btw i don't know what line you do this too specifically sorry if i was vague but if you see the pandora battery layout you can probably understand what im saying.

Hard-modding a battery to run in Service Mode is a) risky b) not exactly safe c) very difficult to mod it back to the normal state

Your best bet would be to buy a pre-made Pandora battery. Datel exploited the work of Team C+D and created a pandora battery that they call the Datel Tool Battery. With this, the only thing you have left to get are the necessary memory stick files. These files are only legally obtained if you have a pre-hacked PSP or know someone that has one. Otherwise the only way to obtain the files are illegal.

There are several guides online as to how to go about this process, just do some searching and you can find them with ease
