I just bought a new laptop, an Acer Aspire 5920. It was supposed to have a 160gb hard drive. I went into 'computer' today and I see this

As you can see, it is split into 2 partitions, and it seems like nothing is being saved on the second one, is this normal on a Vista, because this is the first time I've really used one.

Also, the hard drives don't add up to 160gb, I seem to be missing 30gb :S

    Any ideas?

30gb seems far too much just for system files though doesn't it?!?

Edit: It can't be that, system 32 and all that are on the first partition, I can see and edit them.

You should be able to merge the two partitions together.

    Ah, thanks

I know in XP there was a partition editor in XP itself. Is there one in Vista or would I have to use a partition manager program?

Start, right click my computer, manage, under storage on the left, click disk managment. You should be able to do something on there.
