    Hi everyone,

After searching through forums, I noticed most users uses Handbrake to convert videos for their iPad and uses the Apple TV Profile setting for iPad.

After converting a video, iTunes says the file format (which is a mp4-file) isn't supported for my device.

Any idea, what's the best Profile/Setting to convert for iPad?

I hope someone can help me with this

I haven't used Handbrake for a period of time, I was using it to convert DVD's for my Touch. As I recall to get the video to work on the touch I had to select IPhone in the software befor I started conversion. I haven't tried it yet for the IPad

Handbrake is really good.I turned many of my TV shows and movies to MP4's so I could watch on my iPod.

I don't know if it has a iPad section.I would think you could just set it for iPhone.

Handbrake is freeware and better than all of the paid software it competes with. That article links to some presets to use handbrake with the ipad. Problem solved
