when I install erica's utilities it tells me to install /var/root/bin to my path

I'm trying to install it because it sounded like the missing iphone applications
so first of all, is this the iphone apps? (maps, mail, ext.)
    i mostly care about maps
and secondly how the f*ck do I add /var/root/bin

When I installed them i did not do anything about that message. Also those are not the iphone apps. Check the iphone apps subforum to find out how to get them. don't worry about that message, and uninstall those tilities, you shouldn't need them.

well, I had the same problem. set or setenv wont work. So I just throw the binaries into /sbin/ as a workarround.
