Hey everyone I haven't been on this forum quite some time and I was just wondering if it would be possible to like put either halo 1 or 2 on the touch or phone, I've seen it on the psp and it was like set up that you can play your friends wile they are on their psp and you like could choose from 3 different maps. because it was so big though they had to make 3 halo 2 games, 1 each of the 3 playable maps.
Ofcourse the psp is more games buildt, but the touch is more new and better so just to all you creators comment me =)

Possible? Probably halo one, probably not halo 2. Halo 1's hardware requirements are satisfied by the ipod touch, and its smaller then Quake 3, which is being ported.

Halo 2, No. Almost without doubt not.

Will it happen, is the question, and my bet is eventually, but dont hold your breath. Bungee usually adapts for a new council about a year after its release.

Then why can my computer run quake 3 just fine and lag when it comes to Halo?
(Besides the fact that my graphics card is sh*t, it's still better than the iPods)

there are a number of reasons why this would not work.

1.no the hardware requirements are not met. you would also have to either run windows or code an xbox emulator (which does not even work well/ at all on a computer)on the ipod touch, then run the game, which is not going to happen.

    2. halo is closed-source, and it would not be possible to modify the code to run on the ipod.

    3. how would you control it anyway. an xbox controller has what, like 11 different buttons, 2 analog sticks and a directional pad. how do you expect to control it.

not gonna happen. think a second before you type.

also i saw what you thought was halo on the psp. its not. its another game engine with character models to look like halo.
