I installed something from the installer and restarted my springboard. Then half my applications were gone!! I went to installer in the uninstall category and they are still there but I can't use them, because I can't see them!!

If anybody can help fix this problem... please help! The applications that won't show up are the ones that I use most often..

I figured it out... I SSHed into my ipod and found that it moved half of my apps into another folder so they weren't in the /Applications folder and they weren't showing up on my springboard so if you ever have this problem just drag all of them into your /Applications folder and then restarted your ipod. They will all then appear onto your home screen.

You should have used BossTool and made the symlink so it doesn't matter where they are.

jpga's right, always use BossTool, it will save you a lot of trouble.

Last time I used bosstool my iPod ran out of power and I thought it got bricked.
