Well, I've had my IpT3g32 for two weeks and it is about half full. I've got:

786 songs, 15 of which are audio podcasts (6.62GB). The 'Tuneup' plug in is very useful for tagging and album art, wish I'd found it before I manually retagged the bulk.

18 Assorted video files; Half are hour long tv shows, the rest video podcasts (6.26GB)

40 Apps, Including the ones that came with (271MB)

29 Ebooks, some of which are several page essays (size unknown)

And of course the mysterious orange "other" which I suspect is the firmware.

No photos because it will not let me synch photos. I'm on Vista and have tried changing the file types from Windows Picture Viewer to Quicktime photo, but to no avial.

No movies. I've got Netflix for that. I may download Star Trek when it comes out, just so I have 'a' movie, to see how it looks and whatnot. I am very pleased with the look of the TV shows, to the point of enjoying watching them on the Touch even when I'm home.

Best surprise has been how readable the ebooks are, both 'ereader' and 'Stanza.' I was considering purchasing a Kindle when the price got realistic, but prefer the compactness and convenience of the Touch.

^I'd suspect 320 for the most part.

Haha so are you sad that it's half full or happy? I'm startin with around 33gbs right off the sync half full's kinda a milestone that's passed before I even get it.

Good question, they show up on the Touch as 256 VBR as converted from WMA by Itunes, but most were 192kbps WMA downloads and some were ripped at WMA 320kbps. Both 44mhz.

Vince: Not sad or happy, just sayin. Also, not interested in having a lot of tracks, just the one's I want to listen to excess quantity just gets in the way.

Agreed, you have no idea how many songs you actually listen to until you start checking. Its ridiculous...
