    Which will or is better?

    Hacks or SDK?

Or what will yield better things for the Touch & Phone?

SDK will yield a small crop of mainstream apps that'll probably cost you money just like the iPod games.

Jailbreak brings you tonnes of applications, covering many topics - for free, as well as customisation of stuff like 'slide to unlock' which Apple will *never* let you change.

I know which one I'd rather choose.

Plus, just like the iPhone apps, I would assume that the SDK apps will be readily available on the internet for free, if you look in the right places.

There'd have to be a hack for that, as they're going to be digitally signed and DRM'd so they'll only run on an authorised Touch - you might as well Jailbreak lol
