So I have a 300GB HDD which I currently have just Windows 7 Home Premium, I want to however Hackintosh my PC but I don't have enough space, I have a laptop HDD I can install on to my system but I don't have another SATAII cable to plug it into. And I am absolutely skint. So here's my question. Could I unplug my big Windows HDD and install my little laptop HDD and then Hackintosh that HDD, then whenever I want to could I just swap them over to change OS? Or would there be some problem with that? I'm curious as I have never Hackintoshed before....

Is there also anything else I need to tweak with the BIOS or is that nor needed?

You'll have to install the boot loader on the mac partition, the Windows one does not need to be modified. Do not modify the BIOS other then making it AHCI.

maybe you could get one of those external usb sata laptop drive holders. (it basically turns your laptop hdd into a portable hdd)
