I haven't heard of anyone who has tried the case. I have heard a lot of good things about the Otterbox Armor case though.

I have the Otterbox waterproof case for my iPod Touch 2g. I bought it for poolside.

First, it works. I used it for 1 1/2 hours in my bathtub (after a car accident) and it was great. Full protection.

    Downside: it's huge. I mean...huge...

But the case provides protection. It's your headphones you have to be concerned about for sound. They are designed (no matter the brand) to sound best underwater. Out of the water the sound is tinny. Underwater there is more bass. You can boost the bass through the EQ but the sound is not fantastic.

I've tried two kinds. Diapac, which are Apple ear bud style, and another (can't remember the brand) that has hangers around the ears and is the stacked umbrella style (mushroom?). The second provided a much better seal and sound.
