gummybears work for controlling your ipod... exactly like your finger would - Why?

i know the tinfoil trick, and i know how it works... but i don't understand how a gummybear would replicate it?

(i dropped a gummybear on my ipod and it opened pocket touch, and to my surprise, it worked exactly like a finger)

    weird hey?

its because gummy bears conduct heat and electricity in the same way a finger does.
