    I can confirm this method works! Running cydia now as we speak :) Only thing i got confused with was the boothelper, but it was only because i read it wrong ;)

    on step 5 wheres firmware/dfu
    and when i open irecovery it just closes

    i just pmed you with a quick question, please help me.

    EDIT: okay i'll just post it here:

    Ok so im on vista, and i got to the point where i unrar the irecovery. I install libusb and when it finishes, i cant use my mouse (its plugged in via usb). so i restart my computer, it crashes. i boot up into safe mode, uninstall libusb, restart into regular vista, and here i am now.
    Please help, and thanks a bunch for the guide.

    I am trying to write the command things but when i try to write the directory i dont has / these my is like W with a line throught it how do i write that?

    Yeah, you didn't run in compatibility mode. You need to roll back your drivers.
