I know there are already two guides out, but I wanted to write one because of the sheer volume of questions I am getting.

Note: If you have to reboot and your iPod becomes useless, use the boot tool. It will boot up again.

Another thing: If you don't have Cydia installed after you JB, it's because you messed up when moving the custompackages contents into the Xpwn directory. Remember to only move the files, not the folders! You have to remake your patchedFW .ipsw to get Cydia back.

    Have fun with your jailbreak!

DISCLAIMER: IF IN THE EVENT THAT YOUR IPOD IS BRICKED, I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR IT. I DID NOTHING MORE THAN PROVIDE INSTRUCTIONS, YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE TO WHAT YOU DO TO YOUR IPOD.

    Feedback and corrections are welcome.

If you don't understand something, refer to Xlr8's video.

Please refrain from asking too many questions. I'm getting hit left and right.

if the boothelper does what i think it does, that will be SO helpful when it comes time to reboot.

It does what you think it does. You just run it every time you have to reboot and wa-la.

Dang I keep getting "The system cannot find the path specified." I guess I'll wait for a GUI...

Your directories might be different than mine. Therefore, you can't type in everything I type in on the guide. You have to think a little bit, just a little.
