PDANet is by far the easiest tethering app I've used in a while and i thought i'd like to share a how-to. So let's get started

    What you need:
    2.1 jailbroken iphone
    PDANet installed from cydia

    1) Install PDANet from Cydia (should be under the networking category)

    2) Create an ad-hoc network on your pc or mac. Make sure you create a WEP key passcode so people won't leech off of you
    3) After the ad-hoc network is created, go to your iPhones wifi setting (settings > Wi-Fi) and connect to the ad-hoc network you've just created on your pc or mac).

    4) If done correctly, you should be seeing this screen (attatchment below).

if you need any help with this, just drop a PM and i'll be glad to help

This is the sickest app! So you can basically tether your 3G signal to your computer so it has internet access?

Tethering your iPhone to your Mac/PC in order to use it's internet connection on your Mac/PC.

when u switch it on the actual pdanet app so that "wi-fi router is off" that means that data cant be linked to anything else (srry im just paranoid that somehow a lot of data will be used and ill be charged)

I'm guessing not, but is it possible to use this with the wi-fi connection on an iPod touch?
