After 'updating' to the jailbroken 1.1.3 firmware, the alarms sound files are missing. This will fix that completely.

    1. Download the attached file, and extract the files.
    2. Using any SSH client, log into your iPod.
    3. In The /Library, create a new folder called 'Alarms'.
    4. Upload the six files you extracted earlier into this folder.
    5. Change the permissions of all files to 0664.
    6. You need to re-spring so that the alarms play through the piezo, rebooting will work fine too.
    7. Done. Clock application should show the alarm sounds in 'Alarm' and 'Timer' functions now.

This worked like a charm. Thanks!

(And yes, I am basically just bumping this thread, but IMO it's worth bumping, as otherwise plenty of people won't have a working alarm clock...)

Because the iPhone doesn't have these alarms, it just uses the default ringtones instead.

I am stupid. It is NOT /private/var/root/Library/

    It IS /Library

Actually, I was just about to try that, but I couldn't decide which song I'd like to wake up to...

No, I mean /Library (the Library folder you are talking about is a different one)
