    GUI for Boot/Recovery Logo Creator/Changer [Now OpenSource'd]

This is for WINDOWS - So far Vista Only. [Working on XP Support]

You will NOT have to re-jailbreak everytime to use it! No files are removed from your device, so you don't have to worry about losing them.

It does not Require any ipsw!!! to be on your system to use!
Only takes 10 sec, to create the ipsw! (It takes longer to create the images in your favorite app and to do the restore to the ipod, based on your system speed and memory.)

I have been working on the past few weeks a GUI to set my Boot/Recovery Logos, convert from png to img3 then into an ipsw. Then flash that to the iPod Touch 2G, via iTunes, with simple, easy, clear instructions.

The application is still in beta. But it does work! I have tried it now over 100 times and it has not crashed yet. Though I am only running it on Vista. I don't have an XP machine to test on.

So in short, a public beta will soon be released!

The only interaction from you will be to have the pngs correctly created and open them up in the application, create the images, create the ipsw, then following the instructions - flash to device!

Thanx and leave comments and questions if feel the need to do so.

    Hmm.
Well, it's not too hard to do yourself, but it will help others that don't know how.

Yes and NO! - but it does not Create a Firmware!!

It does create an ipsw every create!, but only to replace the images to be used for Boot or Recovery.

ONLY one ipsw create every time!, so there is no filling up empty space with useless ipsw's.

And the firmware is only for flashing!

The app also only takes a few secs to create the ipsw..bout 10 sec at most!
