I made a thread back a while ago but they never seemed to get around to releasing it. WildCharge is the company who makes it. Here they are.

So Palm Pre. What's to say your better now?

The pad you put it on looks like this:

By the way everyone, you can charge SEVERAL devices on the pad at once. No more tangled wires.

Please front page if you think this is news.

Already been posted. Its not true wireless lol, it just uses magnets, so by the inverse squared law the device has to sit on top of the plate, or it wont work.

    You just pwned yourself!!!

"It's not true wireless, it just uses magnets"--magnets don't use wires.

Technically speaking it's wireless...it's a wireless connection between two objects...just because they have to touch to make a concurrent connection doesn't make them wired.

So true. I like this idea; any speculation on how much it costs?

EDIT: Nevermind. Didn't notice the link to their website at the top of the thread.

There is a connection from the Power device to the ipod... so Technically its not wireless... as the device is mains powered which then charges the ipod once it is places upon it making a phisical conection...

TBH this is old... this technology is already in the shops...

Chill. It uses induction, which has no wires that connect the device directly to the charger.
