I myself do not possess the knowledge to create apps so I'm posting a suggestion here to see if anyone thought it was worthwhile and was up to the challenge.

It would be great if I could keep my grocery list in my ipod instead of carrying a crumpled up piece of paper that usually gets lost. What would be easiest would be a pre-created checklist (and maybe a few blank lines for typing in unusual items).

Here's an online list that I like:

    Any takers?

Well, with the TextEdit and Notes app, you can type what you want, and use it as a grocery
list. I also believe you can save.
But it would be nice to have an app made exactly for that. I like the blank line idea.

There is a web based app called One Trip:

    http://onetrip.org/apps/desktop.php?onetrip

but I really don't want to rely on Wifi. I've made lists with Text Edit, but it's not very efficient. I just want to tap on the items I need to buy, then tap to remove the check once I've bought the item.

I really hope there's someone who wants to develop this idea. Not the sexiest idea, but we all need to shop a one time or another!

I believe there is a ToDoList native application, isn't there?

Yes, there is. I'm only interested in the grocery list. I don't want to have to type my huge list in before every shopping trip.

Also you can use ''Remote Note'' app.I think it is the best way! You can type long lists on your computer and it will appear in your Notes app.It would take long to type on your ipod touch, if you have HUGE lists. If you want to take the time to type.Make a list on the Notes app.I think a Shopping List app and the Notes app would basically be the same.Your still typing on your ipod.
