hey! i was wondering how good the griffin wave case is.
i am thinking of getting one as i feel like getting a new case.

i was looking at touch through cases but have concluded that

    1. the otterbox defender doesn't seem too great. the screen protector is flimsy and the silicone membrane is not good.

    2. the contour showcase seems great butt doesn't cover the screen and has been known to get scratched real easily.

    3. the ivyskin case really looks good but i am not sure if dust can get under or anything.

but back to the griffin wave. any good? and i hear its hard to take off. comments?
and please do not suggest neotouch or rebeltouch. those cases are not my thing.

Mate the screen protector on the otterbox isn't flimsy its just crap. It took me 10 minutes to get the buggering thing detached from the case.

ya sorry thats what i meant. i dont want to have to deal with it being crap and possibly sticking to the screen later on.
the case is also a bit bulky, although not as bulky as i thought it would be.

don't get me wrong. nice case but idk im looking at the wave now.

ya ive seen it. its too plain for me.
the wave actually provides some color and unusualness.

I'm gonna get the incipio tribal case because it's already been proven to protect against douchebags...

When i first got my iPod Touch 2G, I bought the wave case with it. Right when i got home i put the case on without even using the iPod and i forgot to put on the screen protector. So i went to take it off and the bottom came off very easily, THEN the top got stuck. I spent 2 hours trying to get the damn thing off but it would come off. I called Griffin and the guy told me that the iPod Touches dimensions arent always the same, when actually since it's plastic the case fluxuates with temperature and it got smaller. So i took my iPod with the case on it to BestBuy where i had previously bought it 30 minutes ago. I went to the customer service desk and they couldnt get it off so i got a brand new iPod Touch and they recommended me another case which i forget the name of but love. It's got the 3-d looking diamond things on the back.
