    One thing that concerns me is that there are no photos of it on the site. This photo looks completely different than earlier photos I saw. It looks fat and bulky. Plus it doesn't look very reflective unless they shot it in a black room.

    This is what I saw prior to release...

    You can see the notch around the home button is completely different.

    thats why I will only buy a case if its instore, so I can feel it and see if its for me. I would suggest that to anyone because most of the good cases are coming to big stores fairly soon, bestbuy just got shipments of DLO and griffin cases, so it should all be good very soon

    Well, I want to take a close look at any case.
    The iTouch is a slippery guy. Surely the big worry has to be dropping it ? ... not smudges .. or scratched back, etc. I read where one guy stuck skateboard tape to the back. That might not be a bad idea.

    For sure you have to be careful.
    I dropped a digital camera once (actually the strap was not installed properly). Also, some days I stuff my wife's cell phone in my Magellan case (I carry a few non-GPS things). About one day in ten, I turn it on accidently! I must press on something and never realise it.

    Well I like the idea
    but from my 1st Hour messing at Google Maps ... YouTube ... and trying to load MP-3 files..
    IT IS VERY SLIPPERY. My Gut instinct is that IF I thought that I we are going to HOLD it and FLIP it and so all those good things ...
    THEN we had better add a wrist strap.

    In fact I may post a "Did the Touch every slip away from U?

    PS:
    I am still trying to figure out what Apple iTune file management is all about (MS seems so easy) Also, when I fired it up I was surrounded by locked wi-fi -- so I installed my own wireless router.

    Later Skaters.

    Well the iClear gives no 'SPEC" .. but it appears to be about 1/32" thick.

    I also think that until I pick out a "case" I will duck tape a wrist strap to the stem of my Earphone jack. as I am really worried about it slipping out of my hands .

    It is a great device.
    * the screen is a bit small
    * the U-Tube seems to be under fire .. but I am book marking some great clips,
    * the sound is wonderful
    * etc

    I am still trying to "feel" my way through iTunes data transfer funtionality. I am not quite clear how it adds to my existing Playlists. I lost them all last nite!
