    Hi everyone.
Sorry for asking so many questions.
I am making a theme..like vista and xp sort of.
I know many of you may already be yawning...
    BUT
I have made a dock and made the icons look
like those shortcuts you get on the toolbar, as you can see below:

That is what my dock looks like with icons and stuff.

    Problem I am having...is,
    to select a icon...instead
of being able to press the icon,
I have to press where the icon
    WOULD be.

    This sucks.
Anyone know a way to fix this?

I dont get what your saying, is each one of those quicklaunch icons a real icon or is that just a dock image with transparent icons

The quick launch icons and the windows icon are all real icons
    this image will help explain:

each icon is circled by a red circle...
which is then connected to another circle,
which shows where i must touch
    to open the application linked
    with the first circled icon.

ah yes, this is common with a lot of themes that use small icons that are offset, I dont know of any fix but why would you have icons that small wouldnt they be hard to get the right app

That is because when you tap an icon you are only tapping a space with a picture behind the space. That space stays the same no matter how big or small the picture is. No fix for it.

    I got it!
I made a crude..but good for me....dock and lock screen.
    This is the dock:
The windows button is a icon, control panel/desktop quick access icons are settings...and the other 3 are self explanatory.

This is the lock screen. Crude, i know.
I pieced it together from many things...
It has the vista log on and log off sounds for lock and unlock and to unlock you just tap the password field or blue arrow.

it also has the vista battery low sound...
and a vista sound for the camera shutters.

As you may or may not be able to see...
it is based on a combination of windows xp
and vista black with a bit of vista premium.
I am now working on the icons.

    What do ya think?

Pretty good, but you could have cut out the lockscreen better.
