Greenpois0n keeps failing for me, I get it into DFU mode, it says jailbreaking then fails. I have an MC model so this is the only thing I can use...Is there anything I can do? Or just keep trying?

There's some tutorials around here somewhere.. Try to find those..

But um, make sure you're on a newly restored 4.1 firmware...

When I did mine.. I restored to a new 4.1. Then did the jailbreak. When it came up telling me to turn it off and put it into DFU mode, I did.. Simple. Dunno what else to say really. Um.. Are you sure you're doing DFU mode right?(I just know alot of people have a hard time actually getting it into DFU mode..)

Mine does the same thing. And if it's like mine, you won't be able to jailbreak it.

There's GOT to be a way to jailbreak it if it's a 2g mc. Like I said. I got mine to work...on the first try. Once restored, both iPods should be pretty well identical. So either you're doing something wrong... Or there's a problem with the computer or the cable.. Have you tried running it on a different computer?

Yes, you can jailbreak MC's. But for some reason, some of them don't work. I have tried it on a different computer, and I'm doing everything right. No matter what, it will not jailbreak. I hope that your iPod isn't like this OP, because you will not be able to jailbreak.

    gah!

I am currently on 3gs 4.1(8B117). I have restored it a few times already but my attempts at using Greenpois0n have failed. I successfully put it into DFU mode everytime but the jailbreak still fail!

Anyone have more suggestions then already given?
