OK, I like what I saw in the the meta blog, I think my 64g iTouch will make great use of the multi tasking.

So anyone like to speculate on how much this will cost?

Has there been an announcement on this, or do we have to wait till it pops up on the app store?

Obviously. He asked how much it will cost.

To answer the OP, Apple hasn't released specific numbers. At the moment, it's anybody's guess. However, previous firmware upgrades have been free for the iPhone and either $5 or $10 for the iPod touch and there is no reason to suggest that this pattern will change.
