Hi, I'm searching for weeks for a solution...
My setting says that my wifi isn't available, I hardly suggest that this was a consequence of wrong jailbreaking.

The well known swifi fix by dev team isnt working at my Ipod Touch 2g (MC) cause bootneuter gives an error.
for using swifi my touch has to got fakeblanked and bootneuter isnt running.
    as consequence this option fails

I've had the same problem with my iPhone 3G for the last month, try resetting network settings/restoring.

If that doesn't work it's probably a fried wifi chip.

Yep try resetting network settings: Settings > General > Reset > reset network settings. If not, restore. If that still doesn't work, give it to the Geniusses in the apple store and they will take a look and see what the problem is.

Why are you using bootneuter on an iPod touch 2G ? i thought it was only needed for iPhone 2G ?

Secondly your problem is induced by iTunes failing to assign a WiFi address to your device [ you might be missing a bluetooth address too, it might say "00:00:00:00:00:00"

You can either restore or reset your network settings, but if it happens again, iTunes cant connect to your WiFi chip and will just assign the "WiFi address of death"

BTW: iPod touch doesnt even have a baseband. Secondly you cant overwrite an iPhone baseband. its either preserve or upgrade.
