Can this emulator run on the iPod Touch 2G?
No it can't because the 2nd-gen iPod touch can't be jailbroken right now, and this emulator requires that you are jailbroken.
not unless somebody packaged this up in a ipa, signed it, and changed the dependancies so it would run off the roms inside the app itself.
That's too bad Please Register or Log in to view images
ps: thanx for the quick response

...Not to sound like a n00b, but is that possible? It sounds like it.
I'd imagine iTunes would be the problem.
even if all this did happen, there would be some major copyright issues to work out.
thats the main issue.
the bios, and all the roms would need legal permission to be redistributed, and nintendo/roms respective owners would get a piece of the profits.
although, if anyone were to undertake this, zod has his source freely available.
Well of course there would be issues with that stuff.
What I was asking is if somehow we can pack that into an .ipa, and then manually load it onto our Macs/PC by getting it on the internet elsewhere besides iTunes or the App Store. Then it could be synced via iTunes onto the iPod.
I'd rather have gameboy4iphone or NES, anyways Please Register or Log in to view images
well as i said, you'd have to digitally sign it.
you need the SDK to do so.
i dont have it.
most people dont either.
the 2.x firmwares dont let itunes put any apps on the ipod/iphone that arent digitally signed.
at least, thats how i understand it. i could be wrong.
2gs are cooler but yea i wish u could jailbreak, anyone have a good estimate on it?
