Now that Apple supposedly has lifted many restrictions to what can come into the app store do you think this app could finally be bought gotten from the app store?

Btw, for those people who don't know this app it allows you to play old gameboy games on your ipod/phone.

It still would be piracy UNLESS nintendo approves of it but then you still have to get companies to sell the games which will never happen.

I don't see how, these systems are old and no longer produced anymore, unless you are lucky to buy one off someone thru e-bay.

Sega has many of their games available on app store, for dirt cheap prices. I know its not Nintendo, but they can make a fortune by making apps of these old games if they make their own version of gpsphone.

Executing stuff is still against the rules I think. Plus there's no way that its using no private API's.

Didn't a NES emulator make it into the App Store before?
