Today, gpSPhone 5.0.0 was released to the public. It is a huge improvement from 4.0.0. Here's what's new

-ROMs run INCREDIBLY smoothly now. You might even be able to stand listening to the music - the ROMs run smooth enough that it's not unbearably choppy.

-In game menu. Now, hitting the menu button brings up an on screen menu instead of taking you back to the main menu. You can now save your game state without quitting.

-Cheats have been reenabled. Through the menu screen in game, you can now enable cheats. You can put cheats in by naming them the same as the ROM and putting them in the ROM's folder.

-Old game saves will crash gpSPhone - don't use them.

-New controller skin - you can get the old skin back in the Options menu by simply enabling horizontal skin 2 and enabling scaling.

That's pretty much it. Really great update.

Is it only in the beta repo?

If this is as smooth as promised then I'm gonna bust a nut.

Hm... it just crashes on me. I'll try again later and try setting permissions.

Edit: There we go. I got it working. Roms runs much smoother and the new controllers are awesome. .
