Has anyone tried it? I will wait until it's put in the repositories before trying it. How does it compare to version 0.0.8 in terms of speed and stability?

good update from 0.1.5 better stability
    i prefer 0.0.8 though
    that version had great stability
but im going to keep this new version and try to get used to it because 0.0.8 has some bugs that are annoying

i guess ill have to try this when my shift is done. personally, i dont use this emulator (yet) because it is still in early development. once optimized and the speed/lag/graphical error issues have been resolved (sound isnt that important IMO), i'd use it more often.

i support zodttd's work all of the way, even if the releases are not that great. hes doing this on his spare time for free, and thats definetly something i dont take for granted. everything will come in good time.

    better

much better than 0.1.5. Still a little laggy but not to where the game actually freezes for a split second. ( actually a full second sometimes two or three on 0.1.5)

As long as you keep the .sav file of that game you can have the saved game kept.
If you're just updated then yes.
