GPS

    Uhm in the user manual it talks about:
    How can it locate a device unless it has some sort or GPS or something :/ Or am I being technologically inept.

    Wi-Fi. an iPod Touch does not have GPS.

    But that's silly :/ Apple just assumes that there is wifi everywhere that is accessible to trace the device?

    Well one of the main points of the device is to have wireless internet and such. Id say maybe 20% chance your stolen iPod touch never again connects to a wifi network.

    iPođ doen't has 3G. If if got GPS antena, how could you load map to sync with GPS data? so GPS in ipod touch is doesnt needed.
