    HI THERE
    HOW CAN I USE GPS IN IPOD TOUCH?
    IN GENERAL, IF THE IPOD TOUCH USE THE WI FI OR THE INTERNAL GPS ANTTENA ?

    The iPod can triangulate your location using wifi. Open maps, and tap the little button in the bottom left corner (the crosshairs)

    The iPod Touch uses a Wifi Positioning System. Basically it creates some sort of database from other devices that are wifi capable and have an actual GPS chip in them. So they know where they are when the see the Wifi and make a note of it. So new Wifi hotspots or ones way out in the middle of nowhere can come up as not found. Or there can be interesting false results if someone moves across town and uses the same wireless router. (As I found out visiting my parents house and my brothers new house)

    if the 2g ipod touch could connect the Bluetooth GPS receiver, maybe you have this function.

    Buy the iGPS 360 module, jailbreak and download xGPS from cydia and you will have GPS.
