GPS for ipod touch?

    Hi guys i was wondering if there's any app to run a GPS on the touch.. similar to Garin or Tom Tom ..

    i don't think the iTouch has that sort of capabilities, but it would be absolutely amazing if it did.

    iPod Touch doesn´t have GPS nor Bluetooth!
    Get it in your head! THE IPOD TOUCH ISN´T THE IPHONE!

    Look now if you had a iPhone you could use GPS in a sense. How it would work is by it triangluating itself between local Cellphone towers using that to help determine where the Gps unit it located between those given "towers". But apple has implamented this technology into the iPhone Which is Google maps (I can be wrong but thats what first comes to mind when I think about the "GPS" feature in the iPhone but then again the "GPS" feature can be that it is using the wifi connect injunction with address selected and entered.) But apple is not going to install it into the iTouch for obvious reasons, thus defeating the purpose of calling an iPod. I hope that made some sense to you.

    Navizon doesnt work with the ipod touch, because like a previous poster mentioned, it uses the iphone cellular capabilities to give you a rough estimate where you are.

    Huh, so u mean Wifi on the iTouch should work with GPS?

    it finds your location based upon your distance from wifi nodes
