OK, I Jailbroke my 2G touch running 4.0 using redsnow 0.95b5 on my laptop, which I sync my iPod to. That would ordinarily be fine. My laptop got smashed yesterday. I left it on the car roof, and drove off. Unfortunately, by the time I realised, it'd been flattened by a few cars and a truck. So the HDD is completely screwed. I want to transfer the syncing from the laptop to my newly-built desktop, which hasn't got iTunes on it yet (but iTunes 9.2 will be put on shortly). Will this muck up my jailbreak? I also want to restore back to standard 4.0 next week, and probably use Comex's jailbreak to re-break, or redsn0w again. Is this going to be a problem, seeing as I have no backed up version of the iOS 4 firmware for my device?
