    This will probably sound stupid but i was just thinking. Could u downgrade a 2ng gen ipod touch to 1.1.x software.. and then re upgrade it to 2.1 or somthing like that and then jail break it? its just a question so plz dont flip out on me

    no that isn't possible. and even if it was its the processor in the 2g thats makes it un-jailbreakable (so-far)

    ohhhh... i got it... ok... i was just thinking cause the 1.1.x software was on the first ones... that could be.. and they still can be up to 2.2 so... i wasnt sure..
