Well my computer with windows 7 refused to sync with my ipod, but after some tries i found out something that might help, well it did help me and more 5-6 ppl...
It's Simple.. Just Don use Itunes V 9.02, use the 9.018.. If you Still have problems syncing, than got to Start> Devices and Printers and unistal you Ipod Driver, than Unplug you Ipod and Replug it, well it i'll re-instal you driver.. IF you still got problems, go Start > Control Panel > System and Security > Under System Opiton, Choose Device Manager, Than inside Device Manager, expand the Universal Serial Bus Controllers and in every USB Root Hub with the right button select Properties and under Power Management tab unselect the "Allow computer to turn this device to save power." Than you should get you Ipod syncing normally with Windows 7.
Well i dont know if it will work with Ipod's 1g and 3g and with Iphones..

Btw, it's just a tip that worked for me and some friends but i dont know if it will work with all computers!
