I have tested out my cheap Jabra 260 and it doesn't see it with the bluetooth active. I have updated the touch to 3.1.2 - so what am I missing here? The DISCOVERING DEVICES just keeps on spinning and never finds the device. I know the headset works because it works with my cell phone. Any ideas?

The bluetooth on the ipod touch is somewhat limited. It doesn't work with everything. I don't know why or what things it does work with, but mine does the same thing when i search for devices.

What did you do in the meantime? Did you find a list of devices that work?

Means that the ipod bluetooth is very limited

you cannot pair it with other device to send files, even if you could locate other devices with the ipod it wont do nothing

the ipod bluetooth is for using with wireless headphones or to connect to your stereo etc

but there is a jailbroken program coming out "ibluenova" which will allow the ipod bluetooth to work without its limitations set by crapple

So I should be able to use Skype with the bluetooth when this comes out?
