    Okay hang on guys. I just got the thing into DFU (after much screaming and commanding) and iTunes says that it cant update the iPod because its not up to date and it is. Ideas?

    Aaaaaaaand now it boots only to ipod recovery mode and I cant get redsnow to fix it nor will itunes restore it. I tried even the older os versions and it says itunes isnt up to date.

    GOT THE DAMN THING! Literally had to tear the SHSH blobs off of the 4.3.1 firmware. now rolling with ios 5.1.1 jb. o_O
