    Hey all,
I know that most of you will say- "Do I really need it?". Ok- I'm a gadget freak and I like having the newest device that comes out especially apple devices. I recently bought an ipad and now thinking about getting the itouch. The ipad's interface is huge and everything is clear. But knowing that the itouch has retina display will this serve me right? Opinions please. Thanks

Have you ever had an iPod Touch? If you have, then the iPod Touch 4 is the same device with a better screen and two cameras.

The retina display is amazing, go get it if you have a need for the touch.

The other user asked him if he ever had AN iPod Touch...But yeah anyways, the 4g has twice the ram of your 2nd gen, has the retina display, 2 cameras, better battery, built in microphone, external speaker...I think it's worth it imo..

Then I'd say... no iPod Touch 4. It'll be as fast as the iPad, but at the same time, it'll also feel small because you're already too used to the iPad. But if you need the functionality, and you want the faster performance, I'd say go for it. It's your choice, though I suspect you'd feel that the touch is too small and it'll be uncomfortable. The iPod Touch 4 is not any bigger than your current one, if not thinner.

You do realize he's the thread starter, right?

The 4G definitely seems like a generous upgrade from the previous generations...considering it has 2 cameras (rear is HD), mic, more ram (A4 processor), sharp and vivid Retina display, supposedly better battery, ability to multi-task and slimmer design.

Of course the 5th gens will come out next year and I'll want one of those.
