    Yeah its in the Google Mobile App, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GQ3Glr5Ff28.

    You would need a mic for the Ipod Touch, but aparently when it first came out the voice search feature didn't work on the Ipod Touch. Im just wondering if anyones got it working yet.

    I can confirm

    I can confirm it doesn't work on 3.0, Ive been searching for a way to enable it on ipod touch 2g with mic but I can't find one. Why did Apple not allow the google voice update anyway?

    Let me tell you how to enable it in ipt2g

    Go to mobile terminal, or you can connect to your ipod with ssh.

    find /var/mobile/Applications -name "Google.app"

    you will find something like this
    /var/mobile/Applications/D9ACA198-F9F6-4BA8-A49B-55DBB6A5072C/Google.app

    then goto /var/mobile/Applications/D9ACA198-F9F6-4BA8-A49B-55DBB6A5072C/Library/Preferences, download com.google.GoogleMobile.plist to your PC/MAC, find

    <key>kGMOPrefVoiceSearch</key>
    <false/>

    Change false to true. save and upload this file to over write the original one.

    Plug in your mic, start Google Mobile app, enjoy!!!

    It now looks like the com.google.GoogleMobile.plist file is a binary file and is not xml.

    Anyone know how one can edit this file now?
